Отличные песни!!! Жду их первого альбома! Только что прослушал эти самые 3 песни. Думаю, следующие несколько дней буду слушать их по кругу постоянно. Советую всем! Вокалистка поет очень даже хорошо. И самое главное, что это вокалистКА (уважаю женский вокал).
Не в обиду группе, но если поставить 3 песни подряд в плейлист, то отличить, когда заканчиватеся одна и песня и начинается другая трудно - они почти одинаковые
Подождем альбом.... Но думаю группа не станет шибко популярной. А жаль.
В отличие от сольника Долорес, который по сути является продолжением The Cranberries, здесь все-таки совершенно другое звучание (правда похоже на "Dying Inside"). Думаю основная проблема The Low Network - отсутствие оригинальности. Допускаю, что эти 3 песни - самые форматные, поэтому их и выложили, а дальше пойдет интереснее. Но все равно мне понравилось.
Очень рад за Фергала! Хорошо, что он не ушел окончательно из музыки.. Он мне одно время болеше всех участников группы нравился (кроме Дол). Хотел даже на барабанах научиться играть. Благо он делает это весьма не плохо, на мой взгляд из всех участников группы он лучше всех владеет своим музыкальным инструментом. Вот только маловероятно что Фергал будет оказывать большое влияние на музыку The Low Network. Остается надеяться, что и другим у частникам группы по душе творчество Cranberries. С другой стороны это еще один гвоздик в гроб надежды на воссоединении Клюкв..
Hey there, I'm just recovering from a nasty virus, hence the gap in blogs. We were chatting about the competition and had an idea that might work for both you (the listener) and us (the band). We need you to spread the word about 'the low network', by contacting as many people as possible and asking them to become our friends. Whoever gets the most new friend requests from now until the end of July will win a signed E.P. and photo....actually, the top 3 will get one. All you have to do is ask them to email us and say who refferred them to our site, so we can keep track. I hope this doesn't seem a little selfish but the truth is, the more friends we have, the more chance we have of being picked up by a record company and releasing our album. We are still recording new songs constantly and also preparing 3 more tracks for a second E.P. which we will have ready in late August. Jen is heading off next week on a holiday to the U.S., New Zealand and Australia for six weeks and I'm off to Italy for a few weeks in July, so Kieran will be manning the site. He might even venture into unknown waters and write a blog! Oh, we are sending off more E.P.'s this week, so fingers crossed. Also we are putting the lyrics up later on today. Take care, Fergal.

Cranberries batterista Fergal Lawler emailed Zombieguide today to announce the first details of his new band, called The Low Network.
The band consists of Jennifer McMahon (DeLorean Suite, vocals), Kieran Calvert (ex-Woodstar, guitar), and Fergal Lawler (The Cranberries/Mono Band, drums). The Low Project has just finished their first 3-track EP and will soon have a website online. Hi Alex, It’s been quiet a while since we spoke. My apologies, I’ve been working extremely hard with my new band ‘the low network’. I am working with Kieran Calvert who was the guitarist in ‘woodstar’ and a fantastic singer, also from Limerick, named Jennifer McMahon. We are in the process of setting up our website and we will be online in the next few weeks. There will be some songs to listen to there, along with info and photo’s etc. We have just finished a three track E.P. which won’t be for general release but, we will be sending it out to record companies etc. in the hope of securing a record deal. I will update you on the progress soon. We first heard whispers about Fergal’s collaboration with Kieran Calvert way back in August 2005, when The Low Network was in its infancy.
Jenny McMahon sang live for Mono Band in 2005 a sub-in for Alexandra Hamnede, who was pregnant at the time. You can find photos and video of Jennifer performing with Mono Band here in the archive, of course. Приятно, что Фергал изредка почитывает ЗГ-форум. :)))
Долорес выпустила сольник, Ноэл возится с Mono Band, у Майка открыто кафе в Лимерике, теперь вот и Фергал в новой группе оказался. :) Таким образом все участники группы в той или иной степени без дела не сидят. :)
На майспейсе группы Фергал сообщил, что The Low Network прекращает свое существование. Участники группы недовольны своим творчеством и потеряли веру в достижение успеха. Официальный сайт TLN закрыт.

Bad News I’m Afraid.....
Hey there, The three of us sat down last weekend and decided to call a halt to the low network. We are not happy with the direction in which the songs are going and have lost faith in what we were trying to achieve. We would like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement and we hope you can understand why we have to make this choice. Take care and thanks again, Fergal.
Вот, блин! Уж кому, кому, а Фергалу я всегда желал успеха! Очень жаль... Но оцените смелость решения. Чем клепать альбом из нескольких безликих песен они решили просто уйти. Большинству представителей нашей эстрады у них есть чему поучится...
