Ребят, это же мега-новости!!! Да, согласен, Клюквы передержали немного со своим реюньоном, но все-таки это должно было когда-нибудь свершиться! И еще тур в поддержку сольника состоится - но уже с теми, кого мы действительно хотим видеть! :)) Так что мечта о клюквах, играющих OD - она точно станет явью! И тут уж не поможет никакая осторожность, ограничивающая наши мечты! 2010 год - выход 6-го альбома. Ура, товарищи! Еще раз ура!!!
P.S. Какая-то сдержанная реакция получилась у меня..... Но уж какая получись ;)
Сегодня поставлю ее в дайджест музыкального журнала на Петербургском телетексте =))) Напрягает только неувязочка про 6-й альбом. Впрочем, блог Ноэля - это еще не тот источник, который могут цитировать информационные агентства.

August 25th, 2009 - New York, New York - Dolores O’Riordan and the original members of The Cranberries have announced that they will reform for the first time in nearly seven years for a live tour. “I’ve decided to reunite with my former band members in The Cranberries and we will be writing new songs and performing tracks off my new album as well as our greatest hits during the shows. I'd love to see you out there.” O’Riordan stated. Guitarist and co-songwriter Noel Hogan offered “Over the last few years, each member of the band has had time to work on different projects and learn so much from their experience. Now the time is right for The Cranberries to bring all of this together and move forward.”
Led by “Linger,” The Cranberries debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, hit #1 in Britain. Follow-up No Need to Argue cemented the group’s popularity via such popular tracks as “Zombie,” “Ridiculous Thoughts,” and “Ode to My Family,” ultimately being certified 7x Platinum in the U.S. and 5x platinum in Europe (hitting # 1 in Germany, Austria, and Australia, and # 2 in the U.K.). The Cranberries had four top 20 Billboard albums, 8 hit singles, and worldwide sales of over 40 million records. The Cranberries have performed on several television shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and The Late Show with David Letterman, and appeared on many magazine covers including Rolling Stone and Spin Magazine.
In January, O’Riordan played a set at Dublin’s Trinity College with band members and brothers Noel and Mike Hogan to commemorate her being made an Honorary Patron of Trinity’s Philosophical Society. The performance was the first time the band members had seen each other since 2003. Never officially broken up, the band instead has been on hiatus, and being in the same room and playing music together for the first time made them realize how much they had missed each other. Touring will begin at the end of the year in North America and make its way to Europe in early 2010 with dates announced shortly.
Dolores O’Riordan has also released her solo album, No Baggage, today via Zoe/Rounder Records. With No Baggage, O’Riordan’s unforgettable, distinguished voice is back and better than ever. She co-produced and wrote all of the tracks on the album with Ontario- based Dan Brodbeck, resulting in a bright, clean sound that finds the singer’s astoundingly emotive voice front and center, be it on the gorgeous piano ballad “Lunatic,” the forthright, rocking track “Be Careful,” or the infectious, driving lead single, “The Journey.”
“I probably haven’t worn my heart on my sleeve like this since the second Cranberries album (1994’s No Need To Argue),” she says. “It’s at times very confessional and dealing with my true emotions. Everyone, through their experiences or their background, has had terrible moments where they think they can’t handle it. With this record I’m trying to show that, no matter how bad things may seem, it’s not really that bad in the big picture.” says O’Riordan.

не припомню, чтобы группы объяденялись так оригенально. У Долорес только только выходит альбом и они объединяются для тура. ЖЕСТЬ!!!! но все равно я БЕЗУМНО раз! я знал, что это когда нибудь произойдет, но думал не ранее 2010 года. Клюквы - Ура! Наконцто мы увидим всех наших 4 любимых ребят на сцене!!!!!

вот уж не соглашусь. одним им известно, что сейчас происходит у них в голове и с каким настроением они поедут в тур. ведь мы почти ничего не знаем о теперешней жизни ребят. эти песни вообще могут быть не записаны. но надеюсь на лучшее, конечно.

Ой, ой, Ой!!! Как-то всё странно неожиданно!!!! Они все вместе, представьте, они все вместе!!! Я прям не знаю, что сказать. Просто КРУТО!!! Поздравляю всех!!!! Теперь уж точно все поедем на концерт. Этого пропустить нельзя, ни в коем случае!!! Уж, надеюсь, на этот раз они доедут до России.
Только, действительно, как-то странно будет. Ведь Долорес, как никак, теперь уж точно сольная единица. Им всем придётся изрядно поработать, чтобы снова стать командой. Хотя для меня они всегда оставались одной бандой...

Hey there, Yes....The Cranberries will be starting rehearsals in the middle of October. I can't wait to get back playing live again, it's always been the thing I enjoyed most about being in a band. We are planning to do some touring and write new songs along the way, maybe even test a few out on the road before we record them so it's going to be a very exciting time. I'll try to blog more when we start rehearsing, my apologies, I'm not really good at this and I lose track of time when I'm in the studio....the days zoom past. For the last week or so I've been doing final mixes on 'The Last Days of Death Country' Album. The band came out for a listening back session on friday and after a few tweaks we reached our goal! So, hope to send it off to masterlabs in Dublin next week and I'll post some tracks up here or you can head over to www.myspace.com/lastdaysofdeathcountry . They are such a great bunch of people and an incredibly melodic, powerful, dynamic band. They desrve to be hugely successful...so, my fingers are crossed for them. I've also been working on the 'Si' album and we will be getting stuck into those tracks next week. She has some fantastic songs and a huge collection of friends and family who play various instruments, so it's going to be another interesting and enjoyable experience. Well it's 2 am in rainy and stormy Ireland so I will bid you good night. Oiche mhait. Fergal.

Я рад, что мои пессимистичные прогнозы, похоже, не подтверждаются. Тем не менее, с тревогой жду, даже не нового материала, а реакции публики на него! The Cranberries это имя, которое накладывает определённые обязательства и подразумевает вполне недвусмысленный стандарт! Тут уже не скроешься за расплывчатым определением: "Эксперименты сольного творчества"! Именно этими соображениями и продиктованы все мои (не очень весёлые) последние мысли относительно предполагаемого воссоединения!
