Сегодня получил извещение с ЗГ.ком (как и все, кто зареген на их форуме):

Zombieguide will soon turn eight years old (!) and while I am pleased with the Cranberries fanbase the site has brought
up, it's time for a little something new.


В общем, этот идиот Алекс, как я и всегда считал, давно уже не фанат Крэнберриз, и вот вместо того, чтобы передать нормальному какому-нибудь фанату этот сайт, он его хочет испоганить новостями о каких-то левых группах типа Бъорк и РадиоХед! Итак уже все з**рано новостями о "МоноБэнд", которых я терпеть не могу, так еще и о совсем невтемачных группах новости. Уже 2 секции под эти группы на ЗГ-форуме выделены.

Зомбигуайд уже не крэн-фэнский сайт, а еще один сборник "любимых групп". Пока я жив на www.the-cranberries.ru и www.doloresoriordan.net будут посвящены Крэнберриз и Долорес, даже новости о МоноБэнд кажутся лишними на этих сайтах, не то, чтобы я начал пихать инфу о других моих любимых группах. Алекс уже рекламировал альбом Бъорк на главной странице... Это просто свинство на мой взгляд.

Все таки я был не прав насчет осознания админом своей ошибки. Основная причина возврата к чисто Клюквенной тематике в том, что у админа нету времени на три группы. Кусок оказался слишком большим и встал поперек горла. :))) Вот его соответствующий пост http://www.zombieguide.com/forums/viewtopi...r=asc&start=225. Цитирую.

First of all, let me say thank you to the (very few) people who supported my little experiment on Zombieguide over the last few months.

But I realize now that I have nowhere near the time needed to run a quality fansite dedicated to three artsts. My life is going to be insanely busy over the next few months: I have to write a thesis, fulfill graduation requirements for two degrees, find a job, and I'll be taking a 6-week study abroad program in China in spring -- not to mention, I'm still writing for USA Today and have an on-campus job.

So Thomas and I will be reverting ZG back to a Cranberries-only fansite over the next few days/weeks. It's better do one thing well than three things poorly.

I think the little 'experiment' was not a total failure. We now have an awesome news managment system for the site, plus RSS feeds and WAP compatibility. Being mentioned on www.bjork.com's front page was a nice boost.

And I would like to point out that as promised, our coverage of The Cranberries/Dolores/Mono Band was not lacking.

The main problem, as I said, is that I just don't have the time to cover more than one band in depth.

Again, unending thanks to everyone who has posted or sent messages of support for trying to keep the site fresh. And for those that don't, I know a special forum you can go to where the users do nothing but complain about this site ^_^

In other news........ ZG will have some exclusive new photos and video of Dolores O'Riordan in the studio within the next week or so (I hope!).

Как я погляжу, он там на нас намекает. ;) А ведь действительно, как только на диване появились радиоголовы, я постепенно перестал там форумить. Так что слова those that don't я могу спокойно отнести в свой адрес. ;) Ё-мое, пусть мы такие плохие, но ведь он даже словом нигде не обмолвился, что возможно совершил ошибку. В общем, УНВП* в который раз. :(
